About Dainty Dachshunds

Dainty Dachshunds is striving to become one of the top breeders of Dachshunds on the East Coast. Our dogs have some of the best rottweiler temperaments a person could want.

All of our puppies are raised underfoot and are very socialized from day one. We have children ranging from 3 to 16 so these puppies are never left alone. All of our puppies will have their first shots, be de-wormed 3 times, and also have their tails and dew claws done before we sell them.

We live in the small town of Plymouth, Maine. While attending school to become a vet tech, I am also learning many things that I'm applying to the rearing of our rottweilers. The what to do's vs. the what not to do's, even though everyone has their own preferences. I will be done school in 2011

We have been raising Dachshunds for about 5 years and have learned many things from reading, web searching, and hands on experiences. Through these, we try to convey our learning to the puppies' new owners.
